Attraction Principle #10
Become A Master

Mastery is very attractive. So, if you want the world to come to you, become a master at something you love doing and have some natural talent. Why not become absolutely the best that you can at what you do? Develop your special talents and skills so that you stand out from the crowd. Tiger Woods is a master at golf and it has earned him a few pretty pennies. If you notice, he still works with his coach because a real master never gets lazy at his own game, but keeps on honing and perfecting. I’ve never, in all the years I’ve been coaching, heard anyone ever say they regretted spending money to develop their special gift or talent. It is always the reverse. We regret not investing time, money and energy in something we think we might secretly be good at. We regret the things we do not do or try, far more than the things that we try only to discover we don’t enjoy, aren’t that good at or really don’t have the requisite talent to be the best in the field. Better to learn that sooner and move on as quickly as you can to developing your real gifts.

I’m in the midst of honing my own coaching skills. As a Master Certified Coach, I have achieved the highest qualification in the field of coaching. I am also required to have ongoing training to maintain that status. I’ve decided to learn how to debrief The Highlands Program, a program I’ve been recommending to clients for years that helps you determine your hard-wired strengths. I think how easily I could have remained in management at the bank. I left a relatively good paying, prestigious career to start up my own coaching business when, at the time, no one had even heard of coaching. It was a bold move, but 100% right for me. It was only years later that I took The Highlands Program and discovered coaching was indeed one of my natural and top strengths. It would have tremendously reassuring when I was forking over money for coach training if I had this confirmation beforehand. If you are thinking of a career change or investing money in any kind of training or education, I’d strongly recommend you take this program first just to make sure you are on the right track. Then, you’ll be able to go confidently toward your dreams and trust that you are making the best possible investment in your talents and future. Go for mastery!

All the best,
Talane
